A Bit of Bourbon for Cinco De Mayo

Listen, you don’t have to ditch the bourbon just for Cinco de Mayo. To prove it, Jim Beam partnered up with Executive Chef Jonathan Zaragoza of Masa Azul to create a custom drink to give bourbon cocktails an authentic Mexican flair and it looks pretty incredible. With a little Serrano, tamarind, and apple infused bourbon cider it’s definitely going to be a crowd pleaser.

The Orange – Cider Bourbon
1 part Red Stag by Jim Beam® Hardcore Cider
¼ part John DeKuyper & Sons™ O3 Liqueur (Orange Liqueur)
¼ part simple syrup
½ part lime juice
½ roasted Serrano chile
2 bar spoons of tamarind paste
